Well, I did it. I finally bought myself a new pair of glasses. It surprises me what a difference they make. I can see things so much clearer. I really hadn't realized how much my vision had changed. Since these are progressives (yes, I'm actually old enough for bifocals) there's actually a learning curve. I need to remember to "point my nose" at what I want to see, and "keep my chin up" when reading.
Reading this entry over, it could almost be the basis for some wonderful motivational essay. Luckily, I can't think of anything truly profound to add.
